Ryan is in charge of going to local farmers and land owners to make sure that they are obeying the contracts that they have with the government. He also is in charge of creating these contracts with local people to help the agriculture around the area. He is an environmental engineer and a contractor as well.
Who are they in charge of daily?
Ryan said that he is not specifically in charge of any one but he is on a team of 3 that all collaborate on the contracts and different duties that the team has. They all go out to the different locations and understand the different contracts that need written up.
Who do they report to?
Ryan reports directly to his supervisor along with the other 2 people on his team. They show him all the contracts and any major issues that the team may have.
What are their hours?
Ryan's main hours on a normal week are 7:30 Am to 4:00 Pm Monday-Friday
What are their primary responsibilities?
The primary responsibilities for Ryan are to make sure that the land owners with government contracts are in fact abiding by the contract that they have signed. The second part of the responsibility is to create new contracts with new land owners to benefit the land owner and the natural wildlife.
What perks do they have?
Ryan said that he has one major perk for his job and that is flex scheduling. This means that he is able to make is own schedule if needed and able to take off when he needs it as well. He said that he follows the 7:30-4:00 Monday-Friday for the most part but he said it is very nice that if something comes up he has the ability to take time off and get his work done at a different time.

Ryan said that he really enjoys the job that he gets to do because he loves the outdoors and everyday he has the opportunity to be outdoors and learn something new each day. He also likes working with all of the land owners that he gets to contract with including many farmers. Ryan loves to hunt and fish so working with the government with there agriculture program is a dream come true with the ability to hunt and fish as well.
